Board Staff has 30 days, from the time an application is received, to review it to make sure it is filled out correctly and all the required attachments are present. After review, a letter will be sent to you advising of any application deficiencies. If there are no deficiencies with your application, you will be scheduled for the next exam. A test date and time will not be scheduled until ALL application deficiencies are resolved and your application is Administratively Complete. Both Administrator and Manager examinations are given monthly on the first Thursday unless your examination notice letter says differently.
Examinations will be held in the Board Meeting Room C, 1740 W. Adams, Phoenix, AZ 85007.
The Nursing Care Institution Administrator Exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, with one hour to complete.
The Assisted Living Facility Manager Exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, with two hours to complete.
